Our thoroughly validated RANS code, FlowCFD, is capable of full 6DOF motions prediction. The simulations can be conducted in conditions ranging from calm water to hurricane sea-states. Any user-defined motion can be added as an input for maneuvering calculations.
It is integrated with NURBS geometry modification and morphing routines that enable effortless diagnostics of the hydrodynamic characteristics of initial design alternatives without requiring many different CAD models of the hull variants.
If you provide us with two or more initial variants, we can morph them to fully explore the design space between them. Alternatively, we can perform geometry modification using NURBS as per your design vision and sketches, whichever works best for you.
